Big Buns was founded by two friends who met while working together at local favorite, Carlyle, of Great American Restaurants. In 2006 they set out on their own to open an original restaurant concept that would accommodate every type of eater by offering a delicious menu that was simple at heart but expansive by design. Next they built an awesome team that was fanatical about making other people happy. Finally, they constructed a hip and modern environment that was casual and comfortable. In 2007 Big Buns opened it's doors in Ballston, Arlington and became an instant neighborhood fixture.
We're located on the backside of the building in a beautiful courtyard with outdoor seating for up to forty guests. Some people call it "hard to find," we call it a hidden gem.

We offer curbside pickup for carryout orders placed over the phone and online. Curbside orders can be picked up in the alley located behind Big Buns. If you are placing a curbside pickup order over the phone, please provide us with your name and let us know that you want curbside pickup. If you are placing a curbside pickup order online, please type curbside pickup in the 'Special Instructions' field. When you arrive, call (703) 276-3032, let us know your name, and describe your vehicle. We'll be right out to complete your order and process payment. Please limit carryout orders to no more than six people.
